I'm Katie Welch — an emerging policy professional and community advocate based in San Francisco.
Over the past few years, I’ve gained diverse and valuable experience in program coordination and public service after earning a double-major undergraduate degree with honors and dedicating hundreds of hours to community service and leadership initiatives.
I’m committed to shaping gender equity, economic empowerment, accessible health care and education and am more excited than ever to pursue new opportunities, make connections and expand my knowledge and experience in research, program leadership and evaluation.
Here you can explore more about my experiences and perspectives as well as reach out to connect with me about new opportunities and ideas. Enjoy!
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
"Katie and I worked together to create legal education programs to increase access to the justice system and train legal services/non-profit attorneys and pro bono volunteers to represent low-income clients with a variety of legal issues, such as, family law, domestic violence, eviction defense, public benefits access and cultural competency when working with low-income and vulnerable populations...[Katie] is extremely thoughtful and inquisitive and is dedicated to her community and making a difference in society. She has demonstrated that she cares a great deal about the welfare of others and she incorporated this value into her community involvement and our work together. "
